Trent-Brescia, Matteo Cotelli paws: "Couldn’t ask for better"

Matteo Cotelli, new coach of Germani Brescia, presented the semifinal against Trento in the Supercoppa: “We are on the verge of an important game. It is so not only because there is a trophy at stake, and therefore all four teams want to win it, but also because it represents the first match of a new beginning, a new chapter, a new season”.

“At the same time, this match ideally closes the previous season, which allowed us, thanks to the results we achieved, to qualify for this event– he added -. For all of us, therefore, it has a special meaning. Since the beginning of the preparation we have been working hard to arrive as ready as possible for this event”.

On opponents: “From a technical and tactical point of view, we expect a Trento with an already defined identity: an aggressive, athletic team, certainly ready to play a game of this level. We are taking care of every detail to try to be as high performing as possible on Saturday afternoon”.

Cotelli will make his debut on the Germani bench against the Bianconeri: “The semifinal against Trento will also be my official debut as head coach, I must say I am very happy and feel lucky. I could not have asked for a better opportunity: to start my journey with an event of this level, coaching a team and players of this caliber, is a great honor for me”.

“There is pressure, because we all care so much about doing well. But it is a pressure we put on ourselves, and it is also a sign of the passion with which we live this challenge.
