Ruben Loftus-Cheek is preparing for the big match his Milan side will play Sunday night at the San Siro against Napoli. A challenge potentially valid for the Scudetto, a goal on which, however, the English midfielder has said his opinion in very clear words during an’interview granted to ‘CBS’.

“We are playing good games, and you are starting to see more unity as a team. Milan is also starting to put forward good soccer, but I think it is not yet the time to let ourselves get too carried away with the ’enthusiasm– is Loftus-Cheek&#8217s warning. We have to be realistic, and focus our attention on what is happening now”.

In other words, Loftus-Cheek still does not want to hear about Milan being a Scudetto contender. “We need to keep our focus on other goals – said the Rossoneri midfielder. “First of all, we need to train well, improve every day as a team and get the most out of every game. It is not yet the time to look too far ahead, because the season has just started”.

The’interview, curated as mentioned by ‘CBS’, then focused on American Christian Pulisic. And on his teammate and wardmate, Loftus-Cheek said: “He always wants to be decisive, and that is why he works really hard every day. He wants to give his best on finalization, on penalties, on every aspect. I’ve been playing with him in Milan for two years, and I’ve gotten to know his consistency. When games count he always affects with goals and high-level performances. But his potential is still huge, he can grow further”.
