Ligue 1 2025-2026: Lorient-Monaco, the probable formations

There are so many matches scheduled for Saturday in the major European leagues (here are the probable lineups, continuously updated, of all the most important matches): among them, the challenge between Lorient and Monaco in Ligue 1 is of more than fair importance, especially for the Monegasque club’s ambitions of top ranking.
The one scheduled at 5 p.m. is a real head-to-tail: the orangeoniers have collected only 4 points in their first five league matches and share the penultimate place with Brest, Le Havre and Nantes. The task of reversing the trend is entrusted mainly to Mohamed Bamba, who is still dry this season: the Ivorian will be joined, in coach Olivier Pantaloni’ 3-4-2-1, by trequatists Tosin and Karim.
As for Monaco, coach Adi Hütter wants to give continuity to last Sunday’s convincing 5-2 win against Metz: Ansu Fati shone in that match with two goals, but the former Barcelona man should again start from the bench, leaving room in the offensive sector for Biereth and Balogun.
Probable lineups
LORIENT (3-4-2-1): Mvogo; Meite, Talbi, Faye; Le Bris, Avom, Abergel, Kouassi; Tosin, Karim; M. Bamba. All. Pantaloni.
MONACO (4-4-2): Kohn; Teze, Dier, Kehrer, Ouattara; Henrique, Idumbo, Diatta, Minamino; Biereth, Balogun. All. Hütter.
