Serie A 2025-2026: Juventus-Atalanta, the likely lineups

Reduced by the first half-step in the league (1-1 at home of Hellas Verona), Juventus returns to the hunt for the three points in a match on paper not easy against Atalanta, which in the previous round of Serie A (here all the probable formations of the matches in the top league and beyond, constantly updated) ruled Torino with an agile 3-0 outside.

Igor Tudor, to regain success, will rely on an attack composed of central reference Loic Openda and trequartists Vasilije Adzic and Kenan Yildiz, with the former taking the place of Francisco Conceiçao, who was not called up due to physical problems. On the bench, to help out in games in progress, is Dusan Vlahovic, who has not scored in the league since Aug. 31.

At Atalanta, Ivan Juric is forced to make a virtue of necessity in defense, given Isak Hien’s absence: the three elements of the back line will be Kossounou, Djimsiti and Ahanor, with Bellanova and Zappacosta ready to lend a hand on the side lanes. In attack, trust Krstovic, with De Ketelaere and Sulemana on the three-quarter line in the Nerazzurri coach’s 3-4-1-2.

The two teams have already faced each other this year in a pre-season friendly, staged last Aug. 16: 2-1 the final result for Juventus, with goals by David and Vlahovic and Nerazzurri scoring by Samardzic (available on Saturday and a possible alternative to De Ketelaere) almost as time expired.

Probable lineups

JUVENTUS (3-4-2-1): Di Gregorio; Gatti, Bremer, Kelly; Kalulu, Locatelli, Thuram, Cambiaso; Adzic, Yildiz; Openda. All. Tudor.

ATALANTA (3-4-2-1): Carnesecchi; Kossounou, Djimsiti, Ahanor; Bellanova, de Roon, Pasalic, Zappacosta; De Ketelaere, Sulemana; Krstovic. All. Juric.
