West Ham torpedoes Graham Potter

West Ham United has decided to relieve Graham Potter. In the official communiqué, from the Hammers’ control room they explain that “the results and performance in the second half of last season and the start of 2025/26 have not met expectations, and the Board believes a change of leadership is necessary to improve the team’s position in the Premier League as soon as possible.”
In addition to Potter, assistant coach Bruno Saltor, staff members Billy Reid and Narcis Pelach, goalkeeping coach Casper Ankergren and Linus Kandolin are also leaving the club. The club has let it be known that the search for a new coach is already under way.
Currently West Ham is second-to-last in the standings with only three points, the result of one win and four defeats in the first five days. On Monday, the Londoners will play at Everton’s field.
