When Italy plays at the World Cup: history with Poland and where to watch the semifinal on TV

After a rematch over Belgium, Italy has qualified for the semifinals of the ongoing men’s volleyball World Cup in Pasai City, Philippines. On the other side of the net will be Poland, which eliminated Turkey in the quarterfinals.
The match between the Azzurri and Poles is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 27, at 12:30 p.m. Italian time (6:30 p.m. local time) on the taraflex of the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. At 8:30 a.m. Italian (2:30 p.m. local) it will be Bulgaria and Czech Republic’s turn to oppose each other in the other semifinal.

There are no fewer than 32 previous matches between the Italian and Polish national teams, with the latter ahead 17-15: the last direct confrontation between the two teams was played in the Volleyball Nations League final with a clear victory for Poland (3-0).
The semifinal between Ferdinando De Giorgi’s men and Nikola Grbic’s men will be seen free-to-air on Rai 2 and streamed on RaiPlay, Dazn and VBTV.
