Ducati, Marc Marquez makes an'admission about Valentino Rossi after catching up with him

Marc Marquez made MotoGP history by winning his ninth world title in Motegi, allowing him to equal Valentino Rossi. After the celebrations, at the press conference the Catalan rider also spoke about the Doctor: “Equaling the great Valentino Rossi for me is another honor and pleasure. To be among the biggest names in the sport, like his, Angel Nieto, Agostini, is already a dream”.

The Iberian rider will continue with the number 93 on the bike: “I cannot imagine myself without that number. Now we will focus for 2026, I want to start again with the same enthusiasm”.

Signing with Ducati was the right choice: “I said it at the beginning of the season that it was all in my hands. I am on the best team, with the best bike. But when I signed with Ducati two years ago, my goal was not the title but to continue to have fun fighting for podiums and wins”.

His inner conflict and rebirth: “It was a battle between Marc and Marc for many years. One Marc wanted one thing, another Marc wanted another, and in the end I followed my instincts, advised by those around me”.
