MotoGP, Marc Marquez on cloud nine: "Now, I feel at peace"

Marc Marquez is MotoGP world champion. Thanks to his second place finish at the Japanese GP, the Spanish ace has mathematically clinched the world title. For the Ducati ace this is the ninth in his career (matched Valentino Rossi).
Visibly excited, Marc Marquez celebrated at length the title that tastes so much like a rebirth after the many problems he had during the last few years, conditioned by so many injuries (four arm operations) and not always good choices. His last World Championship won was in 2019. Practically, six years later, Marc Marquez is back to dominating as he did in the good times.
“Hard to talk right now. I remember the complicated years, now I feel peace inside. I made the’mistake of coming back early then I struggled to come back to win now it makes me feel at peace with myself”, the touching words of Marc Marquez after the race in Motegi.
“A beautiful day. A circle has been closed here in Japan. It’s been the perfect day. The hardest challenge was getting back to this level. I went to the best team, with the best bike. At first I didn’t see myself in the running for the World Championship, but then my second life began. Fighting with the youngest riders is fascinating”, the new world champion”s closing remark to Sky Sports.
