Maurizio Sarri spoke after the victory in Genoa: “If we play with this determination, we can adopt any form. That is not the decisive variable. It’s good that, in a week full of difficulties, such a performance came. The victory is deserved, perhaps the result is a little too wide”.
“I would have agreed to come here under other conditions. The choice had been made, and it felt like a betrayal to back down in the face of difficulty, especially to the fans. We lost a derby in a questionable manner, and our standings needed to be lifted immediately”.
