Twenty-four hours after the controversy stirred up by some controversial episodes that occurred during Pisa-Fiorentina (particularly disputed the’cancellation of Meister’s goal during the second half), the president of the Nerazzurri club Giuseppe Corrado spoke on the issue of refereeing at the microphones of ‘Radio Sportiva’, without hiding his bitterness while trying to maintain a calm tone.

“I am a little bit’ sorry, it is a repetition of a situation that was generated a week ago – explained Corrado, referring to the penalty not awarded to Leris during Napoli-Pisa on Sept. 22, a decision recognized as wrong by designator Rocchi.”

We never want to raise the tone after matches, we also beg the coach not to refer to refereeing decisions”.

“We trust that the refereeing department will analyze this situation – added the top manager of Pisa, under whose presidency the club returned to Serie A for the first time since 1991 -. Yesterday I left bitterly, I did not even want to review the images. But then all the moviole admitted these errors, which did not favor Pisa for the’umpteenth time”.

“Hopefully we can recover credit in the future. I have to be convinced of that. I am convinced that the referee or game episodes, even the two posts taken yesterday, can change. We will perhaps find more luck in the coming matches. I am convinced that Manganiello is a good referee. But we were a little bit unlucky in both cases that were read against us” concluded Corrado.
