Gigi Dall'Igna celebrates Ducati’s triumph: "Never has anyone like Marc Marquez"

Ducati general manager Gigi Dall’Igna celebrated the Borgo Panigale manufacturer’s memorable weekend on Sky: “Absolute joy! No need to add more, it is all so clear, bright and shining: an unforgettable day for Ducati. Everyone can imagine the taste of the double win achieved, a success that has never been so sweet and rewarding. The perfect triumph with the added value of a heart-stopping finish”.
“Marc crowned a stratospheric season on the day Pecco finally regained his full competitiveness after very complicated months, recording a weekend that can only be applauded. All this on the circuit of rivals who have written the history of MotoGP and with whom we now share the record of consecutive podiums, 83! We are honored and proud to add one’more page to the history of this wonderful sport”.
The Catalan rider won his eighth career World Championship: “No one has ever won a world championship after 6 years since the last laurel, Marc does it with 25 wins and 31 podiums in the season so far, and with an absolute record of points won. An incredible domination for our super World Champion!””.
But Dall’Igna doesn’t forget Pecco Bagnaia either: “For Pecco, pole, circuit record, Sprint and GP: the weekend of an absolute star. It is his second victory this year, and he has not won the Saturday race since Barcelona 2024: a great rise in which he showed all his talent. A little late, actually, but we are here and that is the most important thing”.
