Maurizio Arrivabene tries to appease Ferrari fans

The’former Ferrari team principal Maurizio Arrivabene returned to Tuttosport to talk about Ferrari’s problems: “We are a bit behind on composites and aerodynamics because we continue to make engines better than everyone”.
“The British in the Oxford area have developed that kind of technology and are ahead. To make up this gap made up of tradition, but also of skills and universities that are very close to production, we have to work a lot. We, however, are coming”.
“It takes patience, but Ferrari is on the right track. There are 30,000 people working in England, it is not just winning races, it is progressing on an industrial level.”
“A supercar is made of 5 thousand components and you have four years to fine-tune it. In an F1 you have 50 thousand and you have six months. If you make a mistake you carry it around for the whole season and it is very difficult to correct it. Vasseur is a serious person and he understands. I had it easy because I spoke Italian and could pick up all the nuances, all the words and ideas of anyone”.
