Serie B 2025-2026: Sudtirol-Empoli, the likely lineups

Südtirol hosts Empoli in the seventh day of Serie B. Kickoff at 3 p.m. at the ‘Druso’ in Bolzano. After the mocking draw with Pescara (1-1), the Biancorossi want to return to victory, while the Azzurri are still looking for their first away success in the league.

Castori has to reckon with several defections and will be forced to reinvent the rearguard: Molina will drop back in defense flanking Kofler and Federico Davi, composing an unprecedented trio. No doubt, however, about the offensive tandem, formed by the proven Odogwu-Merkaj pair.

Pagliuca, for his part, restarts from the backbone seen against Monza, but with some adjustments: Franco Carboni takes Ebaretin’s place in defense, while forward Ilie and Popov, who will flank Stiven Shpendi, return from 1′.
