Italvolley, two days of celebration with President Sergio Mattarella

Two special days await the Italian national teams, fresh winners of the 2025 World Championships. The rainbow teams, on Tuesday, October 7, will meet in the evening in Rome to celebrate together the historic double win, which once again confirmed Italy as the absolute protagonist of the world volleyball scene.

To celebrate the two gold medals, the Italian Volleyball Federation has organized a private evening in an exclusive location in the heart of the capital. The event, scheduled for tomorrow night, will be dedicated to the athletes, technical staff, and all those who contributed to the historic feats.

The following day, Wednesday, October 8 at 4 p.m., the two teams, together with the staff and the entire FIPAV delegation, will be welcomed at the Quirinale by the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella. A meeting with a strong meaning, which confirms the closeness and appreciation of the Head of State towards volleyball and more generally Italian sport.

The meeting with President Mattarella comes at the conclusion of intense weeks during which the Azzurri national teams, success after success, have excited all of Italy, once again bringing the tricolor flag to the top of the World.
