Cheickh Niang (Dolomiti Energia Trentino) is the Fastweb Best ITA of the first day of Serie A Unipol 2025/26.
The very young talent born in 2008 won over the fans with a performance of great maturity and personality, surpassing in the voting two important names of the Italian basketball scene such as Davide Alviti (Openjobmetis Varese) and Amedeo Della Valle (Germani Brescia).
Niang impressed with energy, defensive intensity and impact on the match, proving to be much more than a promise.
At only 17 years old, he was able to take the proscenium by demonstrating a great impact in the game dominated by his Aquila against Acqua S.Bernardo Cantù, signing 15 points, 6 rebounds and a net +26 rating.
