Danilo Gallinari cryptic about his own future: lots of options, even NBA Europe

Danilo Gallinari, with his participation in the last Europe, has said goodbye to the national team. After winning the title (the only one of his career) in Puerto Rico with the Vaqueros de Bayamon, many are wondering what he will do in the immediate future.

The 37-year-old Rooster has now bid farewell to the dream of winning the NBA’ring but does not yet seem ready to leave basketball: “Future? Go figure, I don&#8217t have much of an answer. I am back home, in Miami, my wife Eleonora is fine after the shark bite incident. In November the third child will be born: so thoughts are not lacking”, his words to Corriere della Sera.

After saying no to Trapani, the’former of, among others, the Denver Nuggets, LA Clippers and OKC, would be perfect for the’Euroleague: “No, ruled out. But Europe could come into play thanks to the birth of Nba Europe…”.

Here it is, NBA Europe. An increasingly concrete possibility that could lead to the emergence of new clubs and, consequently, opportunities for so many players, Gallo included. Mind you, he may not decide to return to play in Puerto Rico. After all, he is defending champion and, more importantly, the’environment has been healthy for him and his family. The feeling is that, soon, we will know what his future will be.
