Infinite Novak Djokovic: he’s in the semifinals at the Shanghai Masters 1000

Novak Djokovic makes no mistake: the Serbian champion beats Zizou Bergs, world number 44, and returns to the semifinals at the Shanghai Masters 1000. The No. 4 seed and No. 5 in the ATP rankings needed only two sets to get the better of the Belgian: 6-3 7-5 after an hour and 51 minutes of play.
Nole breaks the balance in the fifth game (3-2) in which he snatches the serve from the Belgian who does not take advantage of three opportunities for immediate counter-break in the next game (2-4). In the eighth game Djokovic misses 5 set points, but in the next game he closes the score on serve (6-3).
In the second partial Djokovic seemed to mortgage the match in the ninth game in which he took the serve off Bergs and went to serve for the match: here, however, the Serb jammed (5-5). Bergs, however, returns the break (5-6) and at that point Djokovic does not forgive, filing the file on the third match point (7-5).
Thanks to this victory Djokovic reached his 10th semifinal at the ‘Rolex Masters Shanghai’ his 80th in a Masters 1000. In the penultimate act of the Chinese tournament, the 24-time Slam champion will take on the surprise of the tournament: the Monegasque Valentin Vacherot.
