Isaac Del Toro wins GranPiemonte 2025: "Incredible season"

Isaac Del Toro (UAE Team Emirates XRG) won the 109th edition of the GranPiemonte 2025, a 179-kilometer race starting in Dogliani and finishing in Acqui Terme. Marc Hirschi (Tudor Pro Cycling Team) and Bauke Mollema (Lidl-Trek) finished second and third, respectively.
Isaac Del Toro expressed enthusiasm after the race: “When you know the climb, it’s easier to imagine where to attack, but it was really tough. My teammates put a lot of trust in me. We worked all day, and on the steepest part of the climb, I decided to go” told the 21-year-old Mexican.
“If I had not gone alone, it would have been harder to win against riders like Bauke Mollema and Marc Hirschi. So far this year has gone better than we expected, both as a team and personally. It has been a really amazing season. It is amazing how much success we have had”. Del Toro won 15 races this season, he was the most successful rider of the’year after the phenomenon Tadej Pogaçar.
