World Cup 2026 qualifiers: France-Azerbaijan, the probable formations

France hosts Azerbaijan in the 2026 World Cup qualifying challenge. Kickoff at 8:45 p.m. at the Parc des Princes in Paris. The hosts lead Group D with full points with six, while the Azerbaijanis, last in the standings along with Ukraine with just one point, have never beaten the transalpines.
Didier Deschamps has to deal with a Mbappè who is not at his best but should still lead the Galletti’s attack, supported by Coman, Olise and Ekitiké in the three-quarter. Midfield dike formed by Khéphren Thuram (Juventus) and Rabiot (Milan).
On the other side, Abbasov is expected to opt for a shrewd 5-4-1: Emreli, Mahmudov, Khaybullayev and Ahmadzada will act in support of the only offensive terminal Dadashov.
Probable lineups
France (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Koundé, Saliba, Upamecano, Digne; Koné, Rabiot; Coman, Olise, Ekitiké; Mbappé. All. Deschamps.
.
