Trieste gets unstuck, Israel Gonzalez highlights a key detail

Analyzing the performance in the postgame press conference, the coach of the Giulians, Israel Gonzalez, emphasized the’importance of the defense, which rose again in the last ten minutes after the lurch in the third quarter. “First of all I have to congratulate the team, winning away from home is never easy – said Gonzalez -The defense was decisive in the last quarter, in turn gave great confidence to the’offense”.

“At halftime it seemed like everything was under control – continued the red and white coach -, but then in the third period Napoli defended better and recovered, it seemed like we were going to lose our grip on the game. For Trieste, Saturday’s was the first win of the season: the Giulians had in fact lost 91-87, at home, in the league opener against Trapani, and they had also come out defeated in the Champions League against Wurzburg, exiting the German trip with a disappointing 78-63.
