Milan market: Juventus is not Mike Maignan’s first thought

The future of Mike Maignan is increasingly far from Milan. Talks for the’possible renewal of his contract, due to expire at the end of the current season, have broken down and, at the moment, it is very likely that the French goalkeeper could leave in June from parameter zero.
A dejà vu for the Rossoneri club which, in the recent past, has come to terms with several painful additions, such as that of Gigio Donnarumma (also away on a zero-parameter basis). Many are convinced that the French national team’s extreme defender can stay in Serie A.
Juventus, not completely convinced by the revenue of Michele Di Gregorio, could turn precisely on the current Rossoneri captain. In fact, as explained by Corriere dello Sport, Mike Maignan would have other priorities.
The Frenchman would be thinking of putting himself on the line in the Premier League, that is, in the best league in the world. So many English clubs would have the economic strength to guarantee him a princely contract. One thinks of Chelsea that, already in the summer, tried to find an agreement with the Diavolo to have the French goalkeeper immediately. In the background remains Milan, which, in recent months, will try a last, desperate attempt to convince Mike Maignan to remain Rossoneri. Definitely an arduous task.
