Olimpia Milano: another Euroleague double-header with major absences

After three consecutive defeats, Olimpia returned to success in the derby with Varese. The best way to face a new, challenging, double midweek Euroleague round. The red-and-whites are awaiting two challenging away games: tomorrow on the court of Bayern Munich, Thursday at home of Zalgiris Kaunas.
After the victory, in the opener, on the court of Red Star, the AX has suffered two losses in the Euroleague, respectively with Partizan Belgrade and, at home, with the Monaco of former Mirotic and James. Despite always having the shot to win or, at least, go to the’over-time, came two missteps that were hard to swallow.
The goal is to return to toast in the Euroleague as well, although coach Messina is grappling with major absences. Nebo, LeDay and Cancar will be absent in Munich. The former is struggling with a hamstring injury in his right thigh (he will be reevaluated in 8/10 days).
LeDay emerged battered from the challenge with Monaco and will have to sit out for at least two to three weeks. Cancar, on the other hand, has some knee problems and, as of today, it is still unclear when he will be able to return available. In short, Olimpia is already in the midst of an emergency, exactly as has often happened in recent seasons. The hope is that bad luck decides to look elsewhere.
