Bad news in the Milan household. Alexis Saelemakers, who returned to Italy after leaving the Belgium training camp due to the muscular injury sustained with North Macedonia, has undergone instrumental examinations that showed a flexor injury in his right leg.

The Belgian outfielder will definitely miss the challenge with Fiorentina, scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 19 at 8:45 p.m. at the ‘Meazza’. It&#8217s a heavy absence for coach Massimiliano Allegri, who until now had always deployed him as a starter in both Serie A and Coppa Italia.

The former Roma man will undergo further investigations next week. The hope for the Rossoneri&#8217s coach is to recover him for either the home match with Pisa scheduled for Oct. 24 or the midweek match with Atalanta, set for Oct. 28 at 8:45 p.m. at the Bergamo Stadium.

The former Roma player will be in the starting lineup for the Serie A match.

Against the purple formation Allegri could rely on Athekame instead of Saelemaekers, but the use of Loftus-Cheek or even Pulisic on the right lane cannot be ruled out.
