Farewell to Angelo Valente, condolences from student Elisabetta Canalis

Mourning in the sports world. Angelo Valente, a kickboxing legend, has passed away at the age of 51. During his brilliant and prestigious career, he was, four times, World Champion of the sport discipline he helped popularize throughout Italy.
Once he retired from competitive activity, he devoted himself to the’organization of events, always in the field of combat sports and, above all, became a respected master, so much so that, in 2024, he was awarded the Coni Bronze Palm of Technical Merit for his role as a coach and commitment to the dissemination of combat sports.
As a technician, he has trained many sportsmen and women and many personalities from the world of entertainment and music. These include showgirl and model Elisabetta Canalis, who, thanks to him, also fought in some kickboxing matches.
“I tell you to those who have not met you to explain the unique and incredible person you are. Writing you were is not bearable. I can only say thank you for what you did for me, for what you taught me and for the courage you gave me”, the words, through her own social profiles, of Elisabetta Canalis herself to say goodbye to her esteemed trainer Andrea Valente.
