Napoli market: price set for one of Antonio Conte’s darlings

Napoli, under Antonio Conte, has long had its eye on Juanlu Sánchez, a young full-back from Sevilla. It sees him as an alternative to a Giovanni Di Lorenzo who would need the occasional rest. But from Spain comes confirmation of the Andalusian club’s rigidity, unwilling to give discounts.
Betis, which would like to wrest him from Cousins, and Villarreal have also shown interest but the most concrete competition comes from England. Everton, looking for reinforcements on the right flank after Ashley Young’s farewell and with a Seamus Coleman at the end of his run, is pushing for the purchase. Although Jake O’Brien has filled that role, it is not his natural one, and Juanlu represents a more suitable and promising option.
Sevilla, however, does not intend to sell out its talent: it has set the price at 20 million euros and has already rejected lower offers. Juanlu is 22 years old but has already played nearly 100 games in the Andalusian shirt, netting six goals and nine assists in the 2024/25 season. A ductile player, he can act both in defense and midfield, adapting with tactical intelligence.
His growth exploded with Spain’s victory at the Paris 2024 Olympics, where he played a prominent role. Since then, his profile has soared.
The pressure from European clubs is mounting, and his name could become one of the hottest in the coming winter market. If anyone wants to take him away, they will have to put the full amount of money on the table.
