Franco Morbidelli, currently sixth in the championship with 207 points, is ready for the Australian Grand Prix, where he aims to recover his place in the Top5 of the overall standings. Franco is determined to go strong at Phillip Island, a track he appreciates and where he took a second and a third place (in Moto2 in 2016 and 2017).

“The weekend in Indonesia was complicated – admitted the Italo-Brazilian rider -, but on Sunday we managed to find very good sensations. Therefore, we arrive in Australia with a great desire to start from that kind of feeling and improve”.

“Phillip Island is a track I&#8220ve always liked a lot, last year I fought for fourth throughout the race, so it was a good weekend. I hope it will be the same this year, we will see how the weather will be, but we are ready for anything and we are loaded” concluded Morbidelli.
