Premier League 2025-2026: Fulham-Arsenal, the likely lineups

Fulham and Arsenal face off Saturday afternoon at 6:30 p.m. at Craven Cottage in one of the many London derbies on offer in the Premier League. The extracittadina, valid for the eighth day of the English top league, is worth a lot to both teams on the pitch. The Gunners, fresh off three wins and a draw in their last four games, are leading the standings but with Liverpool at -1 and a dense battery of teams at -2 points. D’on the other hand, the hosts are coming off two defeats and need points if they are not to be in the salvation zone again.
To do so, Marco Silva is aiming for a Fulham side with Jimenez as the only point, but a battery of trequartists to support him. It will be King in the center, with Wilson and Iwobi starting more defensively. Berge and Lukic will be entrusted with maneuvering, while four in-line defenders will be employed in front of Leno: Tete, Andersen, Bassey and Sessegnon.
Same tactical approach also for Arteta, who, however, will rely on Gyokeres as a center forward by setting off a few meters behind him his Arsenal’s other firebrands: Saka, Eze and Martinelli. In the midfield Zubimendi and Rice, while Calafiori is expected to start outside left. On the opposite side Timber, with Gabriel and Saliba central defending Raya’s goal.
