Trapani leaves quota zero, Jasmin Repesa sets new target

Starting the season with a four-point penalty, the Trapani Shark left quota zero at the first possible opportunity, having won the first three games. The success that, in fact, is worth the’abandonment of the last place in the standings came Sunday night at Paladesio, an 83-61 win against host Cantù Basketball that confirmed the strength of the grenades.
“The one in Desio is a challenging parquet and Cantù is a difficult team to face – said Trapani coach Jasmin Repesa to ‘LBA Tv -. I have to thank the fans who have followed us so far, they have been wonderful and I thank them. As for our performance we had some highs and lows but I would say that the victory is deserved”.
The Croatian coach has no doubts about what was the key to success: “We controlled defensive rebounds effectively and did not allow Cantù to come back from the disadvantage by making almost all their shots difficult. I am really happy with this win, finally we are no longer in the’last place and we can look to the future with optimism”.
“The goal is clear: we have to go up in the standings as much as possible” then concluded Repesa, in his second season on the bench of the Trapani Shark, after the second place obtained in the last regular season and the championship ended in the semifinals of the Scudetto playoffs, with the loss in the series against Germani Brescia.
