Ivan Juric makes peace with Marco Carnesecchi and challenges AC Milan
Ivan Juric spoke ahead of the match against AC Milan: “Excluding the first half in Cremona, I always saw a lively team. Atalanta was in a drop in performance only in those 45 minutes, however, it depends on the points of view”.
“I see a team that created a lot, but failed to materialize the work done. We would have eight more points if our forwards had been in better shape. We have to analyze the situation clearly: we have had so many injuries, then there’s been the Lookman affair and so many players can improve, like Krstovic who is growing in training and touches many balls”.
“We are still paying for the summer where there’s been the Lookman affair, injuries and so much more. Going forward we will see more and more results from everyone from Scamacca to Lookman. I am fortunate to have changes that can make an impact. Lookman? I see him very much inside the team, he just misses the goal”.
Closing on Carnesecchi: “Absolutely everything cleared up. I am very pleased with him, then it is clear that words said in the heat can have wrong ways, although without malice. Now we start again”.
