Calciomercato Napoli: André-Frank Anguissa is one of the symbols of the Azzurri team that became champions of Italy last season, and one of the pivots of Antonio Conte&#8217s team again this year. This was also demonstrated by his crucial role in last Saturday&#8217s success over Inter, complete with the goal that set the score at 3-1 final. Yet the Cameroonian midfielder is all but certain to stay on Campania soil for much longer.

As the website of the ‘Gazzetta dello Sport’ recalled on Monday, Anguissa’s contract with Napoli expires in June 2027. This means that, at the end of the current season, the player will expire. This is no small aspect given that always the ‘Rosea’ emphasizes the attention that the Turkish market is giving to the situation.

Specifically, both Galatasaray and Fenerbahce have put Anguissa in their respective sights with the goal of bringing him to Istanbul in a year and a half, without having to shell out anything for their signatures. There is talk of a full-scale market duel between the two Turks, with Napoli called upon to intervene to avoid problems as early as next June.

That is why the Parthenopean leadership has already moved to accelerate operations for Anguissa’s contract renewal. The midfielder represents an indispensable pawn in Conte’s chessboard, but beyond that we are also talking about a real treasure that Napoli has. And that, in case of departure, would bring a not insignificant treasure to the Azzurri’s coffers.

All reasons why it becomes important to move up the timetable and conclude the agreement for Anguissa&#8217s contract extension ahead of schedule. Despite the fact that the former Fulham man is not yet expiring, in fact, the’significant amount of money available to both Galatasaray and Fenerbahce would make it more complicated for Napoli&#8217s top management to move in the coming months.

They are all reasons why it becomes important to move ahead of schedule and finalize the agreement for an extension.
