Serie B: Reggiana thumps Modena, Monza and Cesena closer. Poker Frosinone

First defeat in the championship for leading Modena: the Canarini were bent 1-0 by Reggiana in one of the matches of the tenth day of Serie B. Bozzolan’s goal on 17′ decided the Emilian derby, allowing the Emilians to climb to sixth place on 15 points.
Modena remains in the lead at 21 but only one point ahead of Monza and Cesena.
The Brianzoli clinched their fourth consecutive victory by scrambling Palermo 3-0 away thanks to goals from Mota, Izzo and Azzi. Cesena also did well, bending Carrarese at home with Shpendi’s penalty and Berti’s goal.
Fourth place in the standings with 18 points for Frosinone, which routed Virtus Entella at home 4-0 with goals from Raimondo, Bracaglia, Zilli and Koutsoupias. Both Pescara-Avellino and Empoli-Sampdoria ended in a draw, 1-1: at the Castellani Cuni answered Popov, with Elia and Ferri sent off for the Azzurri and Ferri for the Doriani.
