Two disqualified in major league

Only two players have been disqualified by the Giudice Sportivo (sports judge) after the matches of the ninth day of the top soccer league: they are Fiorentina’s Mattia Viti and Cagliari’s Adam Obert, with the former having been sent off in the Meazza match with Inter Milan and the latter having been cautioned and warned in the match the islanders lost at home to Sassuolo. Both were given one round of stops.
A round of stop was also given to Riccardo Scirea, Juventus’ match analyst who went to the bench in the match won by the Piedmontese side over Udinese.
The son of the unforgettable Gaetano, Juventus’ flag-bearer for years and 1982 world champion, was punished “for having, at the 36th minute of the second half, addressed a disrespectful criticism to the match officials; infraction detected by the Fourth Official.”
