Manchester City won 3-1 against Bournemouth but risked a lot after Gianluigi Donnarumma’s duck. The’initial lead of usual Erling Haaland was answered by Tyler Adams, who took advantage of the clumsy intervention of the Azzurri goalkeeper.

Gianluigi Donnarumma tried to fend off a corner with his fists but miscalculated the timing and the ball landed right on the feet of the U.S. footballer, who did not let himself be begged and signed the’1-1. According to Donnarumma, however, there&#8217s been an obvious holding against him and he pointed it out to the referee after the goal was conceded.

The’former PSG goalkeeper went too far with his protests, however, and Anthony Taylor had no choice but to admonish the’extreme defender. Despite the yellow card, Donnarumma continued to protest, risking expulsion; fortunately for him, Bernardo Silva intervened and removed him.

Thanks to the victory over Bournemouth, Manchester City is now in second place behind Arsenal, which is traveling fast: Mikel Arteta’s lineup has 25 points (6 more than City), the result of 8 wins, 1 loss and 1 draw.
