Inter under Brookfield control, completed acquisition of Oaktree

Important news regarding Inter’s corporate structure. In fact, the Canadian fund Brookfield Asset Management has acquired for 3 billion the shares still not in its possession of Oaktree thus effectively taking also 100% of the Nerazzurri club.
The process had already begun in 2019, when Brookfield had assumed operational control of the Oaktree group. At the moment, therefore, no change in the management of Inter, which will continue with the current management.
At lunchtime (12:30 p.m.), Inter meanwhile will take the field at the Bentegodi to take on hosts Hellas Verona. After regaining the success in the challenge with Fiorentina, Chivu’s team aims to reconfirm itself again against the La Scala team.
A curiosity. In the last 28 direct clashes, Inter have never lost to Hellas Verona. The Nerazzurri have won on 23 occasions, drawing only five times. To find the last Scaligeri success, at home, against the Nerazzurri you have to go back to February 1992: 1-0 the final.
