Fiorentina market, a former Juventus man for after Pradè

The situation is complicated, to say the least, at Fiorentina after yet another Serie A defeat to Lecce. Stefano Pioli’s bench is increasingly in the balance: the purple club has already initiated the first contacts with Paolo Vanoli to replace him and meanwhile is moving in search of a new sporting director.
After Daniele Pradè’s farewell, the lily club has its eyes on two names in particular to replace the Roman manager, as reported by Corriere dello Sport. The first is that of Gianluca Petrachi, who boasts a past as ds at Roma and Torino.
The second concerns Cristiano Giuntoli, who terminated his contract with Juventus last June after an’adventure that fell short of expectations. The former ds of Juve and Napoli would have the opportunity to redeem himself in Florence.
In the meantime, the Tuscan club has decided to send the team on a training camp at Viola Park until Wednesday, before departing for Germany where Fiorentina will take on Mainz on Thursday, Nov. 6, at 6:45 p.m. in the third day of the Conference League.
