Ducati general manager Gigi Dall’Igna took stock of the season to the official MotoGP website. Marc Marquez has had a triumphant year, but the arm injury he sustained in Malaysia has forced the team to change plans for the future.

“It&#8217s a bit difficult for Marc, because it wasn&#8217t his fault. But sometimes these things happen, he knows he has to accept it and follow the right path. Before Marc’s accident, we wanted to develop something during the last GPs of the season, but right now this is not possible. That is the main problem with this accident”.

The difficulties of the’other rider, Pecco Bagnaia, are there for all to see: “It is difficult to say what happened with Pecco. If I knew, I would be happy because I could do something to resolve this situation. But neither he nor I know what happened”.

.

“Having Marc next to us is not easy because his results are always very good. But we are here to get results – specified Dall’Igna – And if the results don&#8217t come, it&#8217s a problem for him, for his team and for me. It is a problem for everyone, but the’only thing we can do is to work hard to recover”.
