Julio Velasco very frank about Jannik Sinner’s latest choices
Women’s national volleyball team coach Julio Velasco spoke no-nonsense about the “Jannik Sinner” case and his no to the Italian national team and the Davis Cup. The volleyball coach, fresh World Cup winner with the Azzurre, defended the choices of the world tennis number one.
“It is not right to be syndicating, we are not talking about a team, but an individual player, so he will know how to make his own decisions and I am no one to judge him”, Velasco cut short on the sidelines of the Collare d’Oro ceremony.
Italian sports also thanks to Sinner“are doing great, all sports have made progress. Only in soccer are we going through such a moment. Negative moments, however, exist and will be resolved. Then to go to the World Cup there’s a need for strong players” remarked the coach.
Sinner is about to return to the court for the last tournament of the year, the ATP Finals in Turin: the Blue wants to keep the world number one until the end of the year, and to do so he must win and hope for a negative result from Alcaraz under the Mole.
