Juventus market, Giorgio Chiellini does not hide about Dusan Vlahovic’s future
On the sidelines of Tuesday night’s match against Sporting, Juventus Director of Football Strategy Giorgio Chiellini took to the microphones of Sky Sport to also talk about the market, with a focus on the future of Dusan Vlahovic. With the winter session coming up, it is not yet certain whether the Serbian will find an agreement for renewal or choose another of the options on the table.
Chiellini, however, has no doubts on his part: “Since the beginning of the year, I keep saying that Vlahovic is and remains a Juventus player and the situation has not changed – he said. We will definitely make evaluations but in due time, there’s no hurry: the doors are not closed on either side’the other”.
The former captain’s ambition is to find a useful solution for the coach as well, trusting in a long stay of the newcomer Spalletti: “When you hire a coach the hope is that he stays as long as possible – explained Chiellini -. In many clubs Spalletti has created a cycle, let’s hope he does it here as well. The’impact has been good, we all think he’s the right man”.
In the meantime, speaking of attack, there’s to be solved the knot linked to Jonathan David: the Canadian striker has so far disappointed expectations, despite the strong investment in him by the club, with which he is linked by a contract that expires in 2030. Bayern Munich and Tottenham are in the window, but any decision will also depend on how the situation regarding Vlahovic evolves.
