New injury in the Roma household. After Evan Ferguson and Paulo Dybala, it is Leon Bailey’s turn. The Jamaican striker underwent instrumental examinations that revealed a first-degree injury to his left hamstring.

The former Aston Villa man will be out for at least two weeks, definitely missing the upcoming challenges with Glasgow Rangers in the Europa League (Thursday, Nov. 6 at Ibrox Stadium) and Udinese in Serie A (Sunday, Nov. 9 at the Stadio Olimpico) with the hope that he can return after the break for national teams.

For Bailey, this is the second injury in the space of a few months: the Jamaican had in fact suffered a rectus femoris injury that forced him to miss the Giallorossi&#8217s first eight matches of the season, making his debut as a substitute against Inter.

Now for coach Gian Piero Gasperini it is total emergency in attack where only Soulé and Dovbyk remain available: a return to 3-4-2-1 is likely with the Ukrainian center forward and one among Pellegrini, Baldanzi and El Shaarawy next to the Argentine.
