Daniele De Rossi is the new coach of Genoa

Now it is official: Daniele De Rossi is the new coach of Genoa. It was announced by the Rossoblù club itself through a statement released on its official website late this morning.
“Genoa CFC announces that it has entrusted Daniele De Rossi with the technical leadership of the first team – it reads -The new coach has already met with the players on the staff and will direct the afternoon training scheduled at the Centro Sportivo Signorini”.
“The presentation to the media with Diego Lopez, the club’s chief of football, coupled with the pre-match conference, is scheduled for Friday, at the Villa Rostan headquarters, starting at 2 p.m. In extending a warm welcome to Daniele De Rossi and collaborators, Genoa thanks Roberto Murgita and Domenico Criscito for yet another testimony of attachment to our colors” closes the Grifone’s note.
The Roman technician’s official debut on the Rossoblù bench, however, will not take place on Sunday with Fiorentina: De Rossi in fact still has to serve a day of disqualification he received in his last adventure with Roma. The Ligurian club’s new coach will watch the match from the stands: to sit on the bench he will have to wait for the away match with Cagliari, scheduled after the national team break.
