Pecco Bagnaia sends messages to Ducati: "After that race I lost my mind"

Pecco Bagnaia sent messages to Ducati in the press conference on the eve of the three-day MotoGP race in Portimao. The Piedmontese rider returned to the Motegi race, where he had dominated and deluded himself into thinking he had solved his problems, which immediately reappeared in subsequent races in Asia and Australia. “Motegi was the worst moment because it confused me”.
“It made me think I was back on track, but then I lost it. Honestly, if someone could ever explain to me what happened there, it would be a relief”” explained Bagnaia. “For the first time this season, I had felt completely comfortable with my bike-I could do whatever I wanted, and the results showed that. And then in Indonesia, reality hit me: it was probably my worst weekend of the’year, both in terms of feeling and results” are the words reposted by motosan.
In Sepang, Bagnaia reared his head again: “The Sepang race was more important because I was able to adapt better to the bike. The set-up change helped me a lot. Although I didn’t have the best feeling, I was fast enough to fight for the win. The puncture? I had never heard of anyone puncturing in a MotoGP race, but these things can happen. Despite that, I managed to fight”.
In the box with him will be Nicolò Bulega, Marc Marquez’s replacement: “With Nicolò we spend a lot of time together even at home. It’s good especially for him, because I think he deserved this great opportunity. Let’s say that doing it here is not too easy, however, he is a great rider and if he can adapt quickly to Michelin tires, he can also have a lot of fun, because this is a track on which he goes very strong and where our bike usually works well”.
