The arrival, on the Real Madrid bench, of Xabi Alonso has revolutionized the hierarchies within the Blanco dressing room. Vinicius Junior, one of the team’s brightest stars, has begun to have some problems, so much so that, for weeks, there has been talk of his possible farewell at the end of the current season.

The Brazilian, born in 2000, arrived in Madrid back in 2018. He signed a five-year contract in 2022 at 10 million euros net per season (rising year by year thanks to various bonuses). In recent months, there have been attempts to renew but the demands of the player’s entourage (20 million euros per season) have complicated the negotiations.

Now, there is talk of his possible transfer. Who can afford Vinicius Junior? In Italy, he is out of the question. Not even Juventus, after the CR7’operation, can dare so much. Impossible for him to stay in Spain, watch out for the Premier League. There are clubs, such as Liverpool, that might even attempt a madness to bring home the Brazilian.

However, the most likely destination, in case of a farewell to Real Madrid, seems to be the Saudi Pro League. Already some time ago, a stellar Arab offer had reached Vinicius Junior (there was talk of a billion-dollar deal). The’idea is to make him Cristiano Ronaldo’s heir and the new symbol of Arab soccer. Whether the Brazilian is ready to leave Europe for Saudi Arabia remains to be seen.
