Genoa coach Daniele De Rossi is knocking on Roma’s door right away in order to have a useful arrow in his bow to hit the target for which he was hired: that permanence in Serie A that had become decidedly at risk with Patrick Vieira. The new coach of the Ligurian formation expects reinforcements when the market reopens and has already made that clear.

Among the players Daniele De Rossi likes is one he already had at his disposal when he coached the Giallorossi: Tommaso Baldanzi, who never really exploded in the Capital.

An obstacle for Genoa could be Hellas Verona, which in turn is looking for reinforcements for the advanced department.

At the top of Paolo Zanetti’s list is Tommaso Baldanzi, who has already worked with the Venetian coach at al’Empoli, and who at Roma, under Gian Piero Gasperini, is likely to continue to find little space. Already in the summer the deal looked like it could go through, but then the Piedmontese coach preferred to keep the Tuscan player.
