It’s official: Lorenzo Musetti will participate for the first time in the ATP Finals starting tomorrow in Turin. The 23-year-old from Carrara, who was the first of the excluded players, takes the place of Novak Djokovic.

The official reason given by the ATP for the Serb’s forfeit is a shoulder injury for Nole. Musetti will therefore play Monday at 2 p.m. at the earliest against satatunitarian Taylor Fritz.

Not before 8:30 p.m. will then be the turn of Jannik Sinner, who will take to the indoor concrete court at Inalpi Arena against Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime.

Tomorrow, the singles schedule will open no earlier than 2 p.m. with Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz and Australia’s Alex De Minaur. Not before 8:30 p.m. will play Germany’s Alexander Zverev and Ben Shelton of the United States.
