Inter market, 100 million for Nerazzurri star: there's Marotta’s answer
One hundred million euros for Alessandro Bastoni: According to rumors coming out of England, Liverpool is preparing an assault on the Inter star, the mainstay of Cristian Chivu and the national team defense. The Reds need to rejuvenate their defensive department and consider Azzurro at the top of the list of possible reinforcements.
The wealthy English club would be ready to put on the plate an offer of about 100 million, between fixed part and easily achievable bonuses. At the moment, however, Inter do not intend to give up on the player, who has renewed his contract until 2028 with a salary of 5.5 million euros that places him among the top players on the entire roster.
The player is a top player.
Bastoni is a reference point for the club’s future, but if similar or higher figures come in next summer, Inter could reflect on how to move.
In the meantime, the Milanese club is moving to extend the contract of outfielder Carlos Augusto: the goal is for him to sign a 3 million euros per season deal until 2030.
