Juventus market, from redundancy to asset: now renewal is not impossible

Filip Kostic has started what is his fourth season at Juventus. Arriving, from Eintracht Frankfurt, in the summer of 2022, the Serbian outfielder, after an excellent first year (three goals in 53 total matches), began to get lost. The 2024/25 season he spent, on loan, in Turkey, at Fenerbahce.
Returning to Turin, he seemed destined to pack his bags again, this time for good and, instead, he stayed. Practically on the fringes of the Juventus project under Igor Tudor, he was rediscovered by Luciano Spalletti. From redundancy, he has become an important asset again.
His dedication seems to have appealed greatly to the Bianconeri management, which would be pondering his future. The Serbian national, born in 1992, has a contract expiring with Juventus at the end of the current season.
Discussing a January farewell, it cannot be ruled out that the parties may meet to consider a one-year renewal. Should Luciano Spalletti do well on the Juventus bench, Filip Kostic would surely benefit as well. Should he continue to be ready, whenever he is called upon, it is clear that his chances of staying on next year would increase tangibly. In short, the Serbian man’s adventure in the Juventus jersey may not end next June.
