Rob Edwards new Wolverhampton coach

Wolverhampton, last in the Premier League standings, has hired as coach Rob Edwards on a contract until 2028 to replace Vitor Pereira, who was exonerated last Nov. 2.
The new coach, 42, was a Wolves defender between 2004 and 2008, surpassing 110 appearances, and after retiring he began his coaching career and was currently in charge of Middlesbrough, a Championship team.
The “Wolves” in 11 days of the championship are have scraped together only two draws and already find themselves eight points away from the salvation zone and seven away from the penultimate place Nottingham Forest.
It is estimated that the transfer of Edwards and his deputy Harry Watling from Middlesbrough will cost Wolverhampton about 3 million pounds, just under 3 million 400000 euros.
