Roma, Gian Piero Gasperini sets no limits and displaces everyone
Buoyed by a convincing path so far in a championship that sees Roma in first place cohabiting with Inter, Gian Piero Gasperini is displacing everyone and, rather than putting his hands up, prefers to put forward his team for the tricolor goal. In fact, the Giallorossi coach did not hide, when specifically asked, during an interview aired on Tg1.
“We are all free to dream, even the Scudetto. Clearly, after the dream, the hope is that the awakening will be positive, however, the moment is good and it is right that we enjoy it” said the coach from Grugliasco, who arrived at the helm of Roma last summer after a very long experience at Atalanta.
“The players have shown, so far, that they believe in every game, even when things don–t go well,– Gasperini added.
Of course, we have to consider an important factor, which is that we are only at the’beginning of a new path, which has just started. Already dreaming of something good, however, is a very positive aspect”.
In the first eleven league games, Roma has collected 24 points, the result of eight wins and only three narrow defeats against Torino, Inter and Milan. The Giallorossi are also key players in the Europa League, where halfway through the League Phase they are in the lot of possible playoff qualifiers, and on January 13 they will also play in the round of 16 of the Coppa Italia against Torino.
The Giallorossi are also in the Europa League.
