Special guest of Aprilia for the’last MotoGp season weekend in Valencia, Federica Brignone took stock, speaking to the microphones of Sky Sports, of her long and difficult path that has as its goal participation in the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, but also had her say on the crisis of Pecco Bagnaia, who also on Saturday in Valencia confirmed the difficulties of an entire season.

“Negative events are one of the key steps to get to the top – said the alpine skiing champion – Without facing difficult moments it is impossible to compete at a high level for so many years. In life, then, everything cannot always go well: when she comes out of this moment, I am convinced that she will be much stronger than before. I wish him so much”.

“As for me, I accepted what happened by working right away to recover as quickly as possible – added Brignone, speaking about the bad injury that is putting her participation in the Games at risk -, appreciating with a positive spirit even the smallest progress. However, I tried to enjoy life at the same time, in fact I came here today as a guest of Aprilia, which I thank”.

Brignone then took stock of the aforementioned progress: “In these weeks I have been preparing myself more and more and better athletically, to load up on this blessed left leg– she said. I am trying hard to get back on skis as soon as possible, but I cannot be sure that I will be at the Games. I will definitely try until the’last”.

The La Salle star finally wanted to pay her compliments to Marco Bezzecchi, the Aprilia rider who won the pole position in Valencia, but had to settle for fifth place in the Sprint Race also due to technical problems: “Marco is a nice and humble guy, he is a champion as I understand him”.
