The serious injury suffered by Andrea Belotti has forced Cagliari to run for cover and return to the market in view of the reopening of operations in the January window.

The Sardinian club, aware of the importance of not remaining uncovered in the offensive department, has already started evaluating different options to identify a replacement up to the mark.

According to a report by La Nuova Sardegna, among the names marked on the list of sporting director Giovanni Angelozzi stands out that of Milan Djuric. The Bosnian striker, currently at Parma, had landed in Emilia almost a year ago after his experience at Monza, but this season he is struggling to find space in Pecchia’s rotation.

His contractual situation and reduced minutes make his departure in the winter window plausible.
